Finally understanding the importance of crediting others for their work, I want to make sure that I include that in any work I may use that is not mine.Alright! Now. As it gets passed on, the name of the source slowly fades away. That makes it even more difficult to find who the original creator of the work is. I find that hard to do because so many people take and use (including myself) pictures or art that they did not make themselves. Giving credit to the rightful owner is very important.

They favor each other in every way. Subaru is like a mirror image of Christa. (Except his clothes of course!) This can be reasoned that this is because vampires stop aging at a certain point.
This is a strong trait as both parents possess this hair color. He is much younger than his "brothers." He has white hair that has a light pink/lavender tint to it. One thing is certain though. "Physically" he is only sixteen years of age, but we have yet to be told what his real age is.
I love Subaru's white heeled boots he wears too! :heart_eyes: SLAY. And for some reason he wears a key tied to a string around his neck. His shirts are mostly torn in shreds at the bottom.

You know I'm surprised she didn't try and kill him while he was in her womb. She begins to hate Subaru before he is even born, claiming that he is "impure" and would ruin her beauty. Her condition worsened when she then became pregnant with Subaru. His mother became mentally unstable once she found out that he was only using her.
He tried to stand up for her once and protect her from his father- (he figured Karlheinz was the reason why his mother is mentally deranged) only to earn a harsh slap on the cheek from Christa. At one point she tried to kill him with the silver knife (weapon that kills vampires with one stab through the heart) and then begged him to kill her. This causes him to grow up with negative views about himself.
Even for a vampire.Sadly, like the rest of his brothers, his past is not a very happy one.(Wish I had a white rose emoji. That's a loooot of swimming. When he grew older he broke a statue of his father and was thrown in the ocean as punishment. They have no bond whatsoever and apparently prefer it that way. Karlheinz was rarely in Subaru's life and strongly neglected him.
He wastes no time in telling her she will die if she stays with them and tells her to flee while she can. After her rude awakening with Kanato, Subaru was seemingly waiting out in the hall for her, as if he knew she would walk that way. For me, it was like watching a big brother being very protective of his little sister. He slowly started to warm up to Yui.
Sure she is still a little afraid of him but not like she was at first. It's a MAJOR change from how they were when they first met. Its obvious that their is chemistry between them. I find this scene to be very touching.
(If you don't play the games then this scene in the anime may seem strange as to how they had become so accustomed to each other in only such a short period of time). He did not refrain from her touch nor did he flinch or even blush. And the way Subaru acted here. It was like he was her best friend.
Yui is confused but Subaru gives her the knife anyway, telling her that it could be used to kill vampires such as himself. Seeing her sad expression reminded him of his mother, who often made that same face, and it prompted him to give his silver knife to her. When she asked him if he knew anything about her father, he acted nonchalant and claimed that he didn't know anything, to Yui's utter disappointment. That isn't the way.) Upon seeing her, Subaru tells her that she should have left while she had the chance. Well it's only cute when Azusa does it! And dangerous! Don't cut yourselves loves. Yui listened to Subaru's warning and decided to take his advice to leave, but after some thought she decides to stay (stupid🙄masochist, I swear.
ACTUALLY I take back what I said. Either he trusts her 100% or he really wants to die by her hand. But for him to even go as far as to give her a weapon that powerful really speaks volumes to me.
Whenever he punches a wall it means he really cares~!"Laito, too, notices this. Like a genuine hug (well a "Subaru type hug"- I mean like his way of "expressing" his affection).And she's not the only one who notices."Dont worry, little b**ch. At one point, he embraced her. Yui can see pass Subaru's delinquent, bad boy act to a much more gentle and caring individual. His attempts to act tough and intimidating to keep her away from him began to fail the closer they grew together. Subaru must've had to muster all his strength not to linger and drink her blood to the point of death.
Being the hot head that he is Subaru lashes out at Laito, to which the latter states that he isn't honest at all (about his feelings). Laito can see pass Subaru's facade and amusingly encourages him to act on his feelings.
